Swing Rope

This training will teach participants the proper procedure and safety precautions on the use of swing rope personnel transfers. It will help personnel to identify unsafe work practices, associated hazards, and understand the risks involved in personnel transfer operations. Because swinging from a crew boat to an offshore platform, or platform to a crew boat, can be a very risky event. The knowledge of safe operating procedures can make a difference in a successful transfer. We’ll train participants on how to transfer safely.
